ROBERT DEAN CHAMBLISS ~ Class of 1987
September 15, 1968 - July 18, 2004
Robert Dean "Bob" Chambliss passed away on July 18, 2004, in a place he loved and loved to
share with others, "The River". Bob was born on September 15, 1968, in Portland, OR, to
Robert and Teresa Chambliss. Two weeks later the family moved to Richland where he shared
his entire life with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his ever-loving wife, Lisa, his children: Robby, Samantha, Alex, Matthew,
Breanna, and his mother, Teresa (Grandma), whom he loved with all his heart. Bob is also
survived by his sister, Tonya Howser, her husband, Marty, his nephew, Riley "Man" his
sister, Cindy Chambliss ('86), her fiancé Billy Thomas, nieces, Angie, Karissa and many
other loving relatives, who will miss him dearly.
Bob loved to sturgeon fish, but his greatest joy in life was taking the kids on one of his
special adventures, which almost always turned out unforgettable.
Bobby will be missed by his family and many close friends, but his memory lives on in the
countless number of people who loved him.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, at 9:30a.m.,
Saturday, July 24, 2004. The family will hold a celebration of Bob's life after the
services. Those who wish to share in the joy of his life are invited.
